Thanks guys. I am going to need some soon- bad alignment thrashed my fronts in 3000 miles. Getting the alignment done before, of course...

The RE-11's in 245/45/16's only recently became available (I think because of pent up demand- they are the original size for the 911 Turbo).
I just go by my local Costco & have them order them for me. They usually get them in in two or three days (depending where they have to come from). The guys in the tire shop love it - gives them a break from the usual minivans they have to work on.

Two local Costco warehouses came up with the same track tire options as Tire Rack. They refused to provide all four the RE-11 tires since the fronts are V rated and Porsche specifies Z rated tires for our cars. Thus their system won't allow the order to be input. I thought of putting RE-11 245/45ZR16 all around, but since I don't race my 928s any more, the Primewell will have better longevity (40,000 mile warranty) and I can live with it not being as good as the RE-11 in handling.

Tire Rack and Firestone no longer show the Fuzion in our size. Did you buy from a national tire retailer? Or is there a website for the dealer you used?

I too am amazed at 150 in 4th in a GT. I have an '89 S4 with the 2.64 differential, and on the tracks at 6600 rpm, I'm at mid-high 130's in fourth. Never been in 5th on the track. The GT's have a 2.73, so their speed in 4th at 6600 is low 130's at best. Must be a really great engine.
