Default Heart Attack Literally

For my friends here on rennlist.

I had a massive Heart Attack last Saturday morning. My main artery was 100 % blocked. When they went in to stent the artery they found 3 other arteries at 85, 80, and 75% blocked. So I have been in the hospital since Saturday. I had surgery 3 times to repair 4 arteries. I am getting better, and now resting at home. I will be off work for 2 weeks, and will be wearing a life vest for 90 days (mobile defibulator).

I am very fortunate to be still here on this planet.

I just wanted to update my friends here on rennlist.

Thanks

Harvey Carlisle

Glad to see your doing better and back home, it's always scary when something like this happens and hate to see it happen but it could have been much worse. Take it easy and enjoy the time off

Wow Harvey, glad you're still in a position to be typing on the internets....

Can't resist getting technical- do you know what kind of stents you received? Are you on a dose of Plavix?

Yes I have excellent medical insurance, and you can believe once I am given the okay to drive I will be cruisin in the 928 for relaxing measures. Nothing relaxes you more than getting behind the wheel of our cars.

main artery was stented with ballon angioplasty, intravascular ultrasound, and thrombectomy. stented using a drug-eluting stent.

The other 3 were the same.

Wishing you a full and speedy recovery.
My wife, Lisa got to spend 4 weeks wearing a Life Vest when one of the leads in her pacer / defibrillator fractured and caused it to malfunction.
They're a bit inconvenient but worth the hustle to keep you around.
