Hope your recovery is speedy! The LifeVest is a pretty impressive piece of equipment. It's like a wearable rescue squad.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and speedy recovery. Our group on here has been very helpful in many things. But the friendships that have come from this group have been believable. Many of you I have not meet in person (yet), but and looking forward to meeting. I will be at SITM, and Frenzy this year. Would love to get to the East Coast, or to Texas for an event.

Words do not express the gratitude that I have for our group.

May each and everyone of you get a checkup, and continue to make this world a better place. I was very fortunate in that I got to the ER in time for them to fix my heart. You never know what will happen or when it will.

I am just one lucky guy, with great friends and family.

Harvey

Harvey,
Glad to hear things are moving in the right direction for you! Take your time with your recovery, and listen to what your body is telling you.

The meds your cardiologist have you are on are great for cardiac issues. Speaking as a trauma surgeon, they are not my favorites: my job is to stop bleeding, not promote it . PLEASE have a very low threshold for a trip to the ER for any trauma to the head while you are on anti-coagulants. Our craniums can only tolerate so much bleeding before bad things start happening. A quick CT of the head is an easy study to get and can make a big difference!

Best wishes for an uneventful recovery.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Harvey. Here's hoping for an uneventful recovery. Were you at Presby or CMC?

Harvey,

Very fortunate indeed, this could have happened to you anytime, anywhere. I don't think it's just luck that you were able to get to the ER in time. You're time wasn't up yet. You must have more to accomplish. I know this puts all that in a whole new perspective.

I know because I had a heart attack 8-1/2 years ago when I was 45. Similar in that it happened on a Saturday at home and we just drove to the ER. Flatlined on the table in the ER. Could have happened anytime, anywhere, but my time wasn't up yet either. 2 stents in the left ventricular artery (widow maker), upper 75% blocked, lower 98% blocked.

Do the cariac rehab, eat better (and less) and reduce your STRESS as best you can. Very glad to hear you're still with us and you can still be here with us for a long time. Take the time to rest and heal.

Dan. I was at CMC pineville.

Rick thanks for the information, glad you recovered as well.

Bob, thanks for the info on the cranium, and I will be careful.
