I'm the OP of this particular thread, and I have since purchased a flywheel lock tool. I *think* it's the version that works for all model years, so if you want to borrow it you'd be more than welcome. I have benefited from the incredible generosity of the people on this forum, so I would be remiss if I didn't take the opportunity to pay it forward. And bonus for you, I also live in Scarborough, so we shouldn't live too far away from each other. PM me if you want to borrow it and we'll set something up.

Thanks everyone. Simon is in Scarborough so I will PM him on this. I have not put my car to the floor yet as when I bought it last year it had 14 years on the timing belt (only 4500 km though)...I am looking forward to doing so.

I look forward to driving with all you Toronto area folks in the Spring.
