I saw the automated message for LaMadeline, but I did not make any reservations for Breakfast. I would have made reservations, however no one responded to Roger's requests for Breakfast meeting places.

I will post a message about meeting up at Home Depot at 9am, Tour to Waco & Lunch.

Breakfast will resume as usual next month. Any suggestions.

2 places that comes to mind is LaPeep in Bedford, and IHOP on 121 Euless - they are both central, the parking was good and service is good.

Also,
Let somebody know if you will be meeting at Home Depot so we won't leave without you.

Don't forget your 2way radios.

Thanks Tom, I'll get caught up so I can actually go have some fun.
I am disappointed your not coming but I have a car on the list so I am glad you are happy to be booked up. I am hoping my 951 will a quick in and out since I already ordered the parts.

Default Blond and Cute wins every time

Just got back from our lunch in Waco. On the way back one of the women drivers gets pulled over for doing 85 in a 65 and she smiles at the cop and he lets her off. It's an unfair world guys, I guess we need more female cops!

On another note we had a good time, nice roads even if a little slow, good food and a great time by all. Did a short drive thru a local park stopping at "Lovers Leap"; Roger had to be restrained from leaping, thinking he was the best lover in the group. . . Seven cars from the DFW area and I think six cars from the Austin group all met for lunch then a liquor tasting at a local hotel then back on the road. A few pics attached.

Okay, I'm the woman that got stopped. He saw us with his new laser gun before our detector saw him. Am totally surprised I got off with a warning; he said it was because my driving record was clean and that we were the most polite folks he has met all day. We chatted a bit about the car, which he obviously liked. Whew!

It was an awesome get together with great people...and, did I mention that there was some fast driving...

Made it home with no tickets - what a blast going back up I35.

Glad you got off with a warning Barbara. He was sitting way back in a car park so I do not know how he got you. Did you actually get hit with laser? I was pretty close behind you and did not pick up anything.

I think he just saw a pretty lady in a red sports car and and!!!!

Thanks to the James and the Austin group for coming our way.

Thanks to Laura and Mike for being excellent hosts and showing us the sights of Waco.

Lunch was good and the whiskies interesting.

James your GTS is bad *** - love it man.

James enjoyed seeing your latest stable add-on a friendly reminder - add the missing safety clip to the push rod of the headlight motor before it wants to visit with you condensor/radiator - and for sakes of easier dipstick access mount the spark wires of 5-8 behind the waterpump transportation shackle instead of doubled up on the front with wires 1-4

You got the only Pordie-Grass engine

Had a great time yesterday. Many thanks to Laura for putting it together. Great to hear Barbara got a warning instead of a ticket!

Yesterday was the most fun I have had with my 928 since I got it. I especially enjoyed the ride down with little traffic on the country roads. The ride back on the Interstate was a little nerve racking as I was always trying to catch up with you guys at the front and the traffic made it really hard. If Barbara was pulled over only doing 85 and only got a warning that is fantastic. I nominate her to lead the front for the next drive. I think we should do that quarterly and stay in North Texas. I know there are some fun drives southwest of Fort Worth. We could sleep in a little more drive down and eat lunch somewhere and then drive back. As a car club what could be more fun than a spirited drive. The 928 is such a joy to drive. I think those that chose to just do breakfast missed out on a terrific fun day. We need to talk this up a little at the next breakfast.

Here is a picture my step son took with his I-Phone 5. The white car was one we all passed. The rest in order were. Barbara and Herman, Jim, Zane and Roger (not seen in front of Andy and Adrien, Brad and Dylan, Bill and Donna and Lonnie.

Thank you Laura and Mike for planning it. Dylan and I had a blast.

Herman, thanks for the tips my friend! Roger is going to send that C-clip out to me tomorrow AM! Thank goodness. You know they must have missed that with the deer repairs because ALL of that stuff was out of the car!! That is not the ONLY thing they missed either! There was plenty and this was at a really high end place which the owner is also the owner of the P-car DEALERSHIP! Go figure!

Roger, thanks for the compliment. There is still PLENTY of work that need to do to make the car the way I want it, but it is coming along!!!

Glad you guys like the blingy engine bay! It is CRAZY I know! I just love it! You won't see another one quite like that I'm pretty sure! LOL!

It was great to meet some of the significant others and also great seeing all you D/FW guys again! Though only this past Nov at 3rd Coast, it seems like FOREVER ago that we last connected! What a GREAT group of 928 enthusiasts you have up there and we love to share in your excitement whenever we can!

It was great to have a few of the home team join me in Waco! The drive up with Michael and his wife and Jim was great and seeing Tom and meeting his wife there was a real treat as well! Sorry I missed the fun at the hotel! Based on the pics it looks like you all had fun!

Remember all you guys in San Antonio, Houston and of course Dallas (as well as anywhere else) are WELCOME and ENCOURAGED to join the Austin gang for our 2nd Saturday lunches ANY TIME YOU WANT! Be sure to PM, email, text or call me to be sure we are still on for the standard location or if we have moved it to an "upscale" club or out of town for REAL BBQ!

Looks like you all had a good time and I'll make the next one, slowly catching up with work around here. See you all soon.
