Count me in as I want to drive my car 8>)
No point in another Saturday as this is all about the first Saturday in the month.
This is a poll to find out what people want to do.
We have six for Waco so far.
For those who do not want to drive we can set up a local meeting no problem. Where would you like to meet????????

Laura, I looked at the poll.. seems once the public/private is set it is not alterable.

We love to drive; we love the people. We're up for adventures. So, we're always in when available.

I'm with Chuck...I have tried that before. It has worked a few times! LOL! Like Roger at least I have a 928 GTG in my garage/driveway everyday! LMAO!
Hey Laura and Roger, I voted for Waco for lunch, but Hill Country would be even better IMHO for us down here, but whatever works for you guys and I'll certainly do my best to lead a group up from Austin to join you guys!
Looking forward to seeing you D/FW guys again!
Roger, just read you last post in this thread and that is a good idea, let Big John keep the guys that need or want to stay in town happy and then for those who want a little change of pace head south for lunch and let us meet you in Waco!

If you go to Waco, give the Dr Pepper museum a look. 8 bucks, you get a tour and a few cold ones.

Going to Waco on Saturday - I know Laura is working on the details.
We should meet at the normal place just south of Ft Worth on/just off I35.
Jim can you remind me of the location please?
Then we can set a meeting time.

We usually meet at the Home Depot/Jack in the box at Sycamore School Rd off of I35W. Are we going to tour the distillery?

March 2nd Lunch
March 2nd 928 DFW Lunch Gathering – we will be taking a road trip to The Elite Café in Waco, a drive through Cameron Park, stopping at Lover’s Leap. Instead of a Winery – I am arranging a tasting of Waco’s Awarding Winning Scotch from Balcones Distillery at a tasting room near Baylor. The Balcones Distillery is closed on weekends (I guess Waco has a lot of Monday Through Friday Whiskey Drinkers-I don’t blame them).
10:30am – Drive Through Cameron park to Top of Lover’s Leap. I will get a map together so you guys can meet up with Mike (unless he meets you guys in DFW, I think that is yet to be decided) and follow him through Cameron Park to the top of Lover’s Leap. Yall will enjoy the drive and the view through the entire park is awesome.
11:30am to…? Lunch at The Elite Café. On the Circle.
Then to the Scotch Tasting or Dr. Pepper Museum – whichever is your preference. I will have directions to both so you can do both if you like.
Making it to Lover’s Leap at 10:30 would be good so whatever time you think you need to leave DFW area. Just let me know which Direction you will be coming from.
DFW meet up at Home Depot/Jack in the box at Sycamore School Rd off of I35W. (What time and i will edit it ...Thanks!)
