The jack stands were at 22" from floor.

Wow, very informative. How about one on checking the flex plate? Air pump belt cutting.... Lol I like to see things done before I attempt. LOL.

I used a long breaker bar against the rear wheel studs and the concrete to stop the CV shaft from rotating, I used the hand break method too but it becomes cumbersome when you have to get up from under the car and release it and engage it several times to get to all the bolts. Not easy on the back.

I was reading a thread about removing the upper bellhousing bolts and Greg Nettles (RIP) had used a 4' long breaker bar and gone in from under the car and up past the heat shields to the upper bell housing bolts. Might be an alternate way for those who can't get their hands in there.
