Good to know there is some demand built up. The early type round lift points are difficult to work with, requiring unique end pieces for front and rear. They will probably still require a third contact point as with the originals.

I will figure out something interesting based on the new lightweight late type ends (which also fit all the other Porsche models).

Glad to hear these are coming back. I'm also looking forward to having a set.

Hi all.
Any updates on these much-needed early lift bars?

Thanks ! ! ! !

Early-Liftbars are go!

10 lbs (5/ea) lighter weight than the old version! Each bar can now be used on either side and will fit late 928 (and other types), just with a little less jack clearance.

Introductory priced the same as the other types but may eventually be higher (unique laser-cut parts, more labor).

(Thanks to Keith M. for use of his '80 for testing.)

I'm glad they are back and available. Once I move this summer hopefully and have a bigger garage then I will add these to my arsenal.

Well, I just ordered a set too.

I'm gonna melt my credit card this month.

Ken - the site said 2-3 weeks for delivery due to construction time and such.

Is that accurate, or are you expecting to be backed up a bit due to the influx of new orders for the OB bars?
Not a problem, just curious.

Joe - it should still work out to less than 3 weeks, I hope. It may depend on the laser guy if I have to order more end pieces.

Ok. Thank you.

Again, it's far more of a "When should I expect them?" question than a "Doggonit, I want them NOW" sort of thing.
