Default power windows

Lowered PS window.
Went to put it up, and nothing.
Nothing on DS either.
Checked fuse, it was good.
Put the fuse back in, nothing.
Wiggled the fuse, and they worked, then not, then worked again.
Fuse is loose.
Any way to tighten?

What year car are we talking about? Early cars had bullet fuses while later cars have ATC fuses. Makes a difference in how to proceed.

The switches often work on the way down, but not on the way up...

Does the voltmeter flick when switch is pushed? If it doesn't then it is the switch.

Sorry, bad habit.....early 86, manual.
The fuse is really loose, compared to the others.

If it is the blade type fuse, Wally told me a trick to twist the blades ever so slightly so that they go in firmly.
Hope that helps.
