If your key unlocks all your locks including your gas cap then you only have to dismantle the gas cap to determine the code ( flat pin placement). No damage and it is not necessary to mail away your only good key.

how to do it is included here

keys4classics is so cheap and perfect - $13 for an alarm key and $6.50 shipping - how easy does it get

Keys for Classics, said they could do it with a scan,
$55.50 for one, $89.50 for two.

I ended up using Tony Euganeo in PA.
http://www.lockandkeyid.com

I mailed him my blank, and original, and he cut it for $40.00 and got it back to me in a few days.

The key works in everything.
It is a bit stiff at the bottom, but hopefully will loosen up.

I highly recommend this vendor!

Is the hatch keyed differently than the ignition/door from factory?
I had to do the missing key mod on the hatch this weekend.
