Default 1986 vs 1986.5

What is the difference? How can I tell that mine is a .5?

Yep. Do you have the larger S4 calipers? That's one of the tell tale signs of an 86.5. T

Thanks guys. That clears that up. Guess I was hoping it was an 86.5 but...
I still love it.

What I liked about my '86 was the lack of a third brake light in the middle of the hatch window. Plus the '86 had ABS where the US'85s didn't. Really didn't like the rear brakes but with the 33bar bias valve they worked ok, just looked pitiful...

Its basically the same car except the S4 brakes, square jack points, maybe better suspension components - not sure about that one ??? The good part is you can still Porkenize her and you'll really like that! Is she a 5 Speed or Rogerbox? Either way, Porken's chipset will really wake her up
