Default How many miles per tank?

Just curious what some of you guys/gals are getting for miles per tank. I'm in the middle of tuning my turbo and have noticed a slight increase in gas mileage................when my foot is not in it! I'm pretty close for the WOT tuning, just trying to get the idle and cruise portions to be nice and smooth and maximize fuel economy.
Please share your numbers!

Mine is not bad I guess. We averaged 74mph for 1600 miles and the gas usage was right around 17.5 for me. That is down from when I was NA and could get 21/22.

I can get 435 miles out of a tank cruising at 65mph.

Drops to 370 miles when 'averaging' 80mph.

My average mixed-use tank goes about 350 miles on Cali fuel, about 17 MPG. Old white-haired guy, stuck in traffic. It's been a day since I went a hundred...

I´m right in there with my GTS when I use it every day. About 350 miles is the absolute maximum.

My personal record so far during my move to Spain was 9.8 l/100km or about 24 MPG. Average speed 65 MPH and I travelled 810 km or about 506 miles on one tank. I think it was only possible because my GTS is uses an US sepc. S4 R&P
But to reach speeds above 160 MPH is a little difficult with this R&P, but otherwise no noticeable difference

Some probably won't realize that 74 is an extremely good average over that long of distance.

John and I drove from SITM to Arlington (about 1100 miles one way) and managed to make it in about 15 hours. This is a 73.3 average......and we were cookin for hours on end....we filled up with gas before we left, and stopped for gas twice on the way and stopped 45 min. for lunch too.....so both of us were on our third tank when we made it to Arlington. I don't know what average MPG we were getting, but it was not bad considering.

Even with the turbo, if I just drive it and do not spool the turbo (what fun is that) I have seen 19.5 mpg on 100 mile trips from Waco to my house in Fort Worth driving at 70 to 75 mph. I would fill up in Waco, drive to my house, and fill up again so I could calculate what I got. My tires are 1 inch taller than stock, which makes my odo read less miles than I actually travel, not by much, but it hurts my gas mileage calculation.

I'd bet you turbo guys get a bit better mileage than us running belted boost. And yea, we were cooking, don't think we saw below 85 most of the time on the road.

Don't know about the tank milage but I did a round trip of 220 miles, between 65-105mph, (mostly bout 75+), got right at 20mpg.

You guys are getting way better mileage than me. Even before my car was turbocharged I was getting like 13. Now I'm getting about 15. Is my car that thirsty? Oh well, more tuning is needed.

I get around 20-22 mpg most of the time unless I am on it, then my record is 4.5 mpg.

Before I sharktuned the car I would get 16-17 mpg on a good day.

With the 928, it's usually somewhere between 300 and 400 miles before I refuel.

If I recall correctly, the 85 car I used to have came with a colorful 8x12 dealer brochure saying the car got 28mpg in the highway. I don't think I every saw that and I owned the car for 8 years. More like 24 on a very even grade of road.
