Not true. There was a certain 6 speed 928 that utilized negative castor in the Mask Races of 2002 held in the foot hills of Montania de la Muerte. I understand the car took the championship. I guess negative castor works fine for drag racing in reverse, just ask Carlos Hernandez.

Idiot's guide to suspension settings:

Caster: the more you add, the more feedback you get through steering. Also makes the steering heavier. 5* is in the ballpark.
Camber: adding more keeps the outside tire square to the road during cornering. 2.5* is in the ballpark.
Toe: street cars have mild toe in. adding toe out will make the car very darty, but will also turn in like crazy on initial turn in.

Thanks for all that , I have ended up keeping the early lower arms with the later rest of , using shims to gain clearance and adjust camber from the upper a arms .
Should work well , finished it all off today , did someone I hear mention that narrower springs and perches are available for these cars ?

That would create a lot more clearance over stock .
