See Autocar pictures of the new 928, or will it be the 929? Wait a minute, that's a Mazda right?

I noticed at the end of the article the new Porsche boss Matthias Muller mentioned that the new Panamera should share platforms with Bentley to reduce costs. And the VW integration continues...

As dicussed before..".these images from Julliana Cho, a Porsche-sponsored student who has just graduated from the vehicle design course at the Royal College of Art, might give some clues "
She has little or no insight into what Porsche might do just a STUDENT with a design exercise !!!!

Been hearing these rumors for years. I'll believe it when I see it.

No NO goes the otherway, use cheaper Porsche parts to make the Bentley less expensive to build but still ask Bentley money for it.

It certainly is, hence the word "again". I searched for the original thread but couldn't find it. Perhaps the wrong searchkeys.

Sorry, but you are mis-informed.

The Cayenne was designed and engineered predominantly at Porsche. So, in reality, VW slapped their logo on a Porsche.

The only thing that supports your argument is that the bodies of both are made in a VW factory. But by that logic, you'd have to call some other Porsches BMWs, because - believe it or not - BMW has stamped sheet metal for Porsche in the past.

The auto business is global, and the brands may be rivals in sales, but work together in the background - more than is obvious to the casual observer.

Whatever happened to the Macan? They were supposed to show the CUV in Los Angeles last year I believe, but never happened.

Not saying I want the Macan, but it seems like they're being pushed farther than they should, with the 918 on its way out soon, the new 991 models, Boxster, Cayman, a supposed '919', not to mention the new Panamera and ,cross your fingers, 928.

Not quite the small company they used to be...

Macan will be introduced later this year.
