I've sat in the very seats pictured above. They are not sport seats and they haven't been presented as such. The bolsters seem to be like normal style seats to me.

I'm not sure when Sport Seats first became an option for the 928, but the first version of them that were offered were, I think, the same sport seats that you might have gotten with any other Porsche car, and they came without the segmented cushion sections in the seat bottoms and backs. I am pretty sure that the early ones offered, and that would likely have been up through 84 MY, were the Sport Seats shown just above in Post #30. The Bolsters are deeper than on the original seats, both on the seat backs and on the seat bottoms. I have an identical set of those seats that I took out of my GTS4 when I got it as they had been retrofitted by Potsy Weber when he rebuilt the car because they are significantly lighter than the GTS comfort seats and he had intended to track the car some. I am billing my seats as "Early Sport Seats" for the 928.
