There is another thread on here where we have been discussing the nature of the early 928 sport seats, and these do not look anything like those.
Let us know what your opinion is based on. Thanks.

Google pictures "Porsche pascha 911" and you will see this style in late '70s and early '80s 911s. Google it for the 928 and this style doesn't appear???? Possibly a special order to have the 911 seat if they are original???? Originally a Pascha car with worn front seats that he swapped in a set of 911 seats???
Bolsters aren't big enough to be the sport seats.

It was discussed before and someone in the know ( Vilhuer I believe ) said that they were available on early 928's and that he has seen cars that had them from factory.

Nicole is a good historical source as well. I do recall them being discussed, I just don't remember if they were 928 special seats. They are the common 911 seats regardless.

Nicole, we've been over this before The 80-82 4.5 euro came with those seats. They are identical to the period 911 sc seats. I had an 81 just like that, with the same seats. Check out the owners manual for '81 and you'll see them in some photos.
And the engine is m28/09 with 240 hp and more torque than the early 4.5. Not the same as the early 4.5 and the us 4.5. It has a cr of 10:1 and double valve springs, among other things .

I had a 81S with the same seats in blue leather. I was told they were the old style sport seats for Porsche 928. They are very different from the Recaro 928 sport seats that came in the mid 80s. They look less sporty than they are. Side support is clearly better than standard comfort seat. Also the rear seats are unusual too and have tight stitching looking alot like old Ferrari seats. If these aren't early 928 sport seats, then can someone show me the real deal?

I have to agree with Nicole they are not 928 sport seats as supplied 80 - 83 and as part of the competition package. I have two cars with the sport seats and will take pictures.

Well these are the real Macoy.
And on closer inspection, they look a little different than those Pasha ones in the second link of the low mileage 78.
Hard to make out in a sea of psychedelic squares....
