Default 1986 928S on Ebay

Does anyone know this car? It's been on Ebay off and on for months, but never sold. Seems like a nice car.

The 'buy it now' price likely has something to do with it.

IIRC this car first appeared on ebay last February. Another nice looking car that the seller will not part with for less than $18-20K. Now that I have a car, I hope he gets it but I know he won't.

You would think that someone who can hold a car for close to a year could buy new digital camera so red don't look like hot pink.

Funny! But very true. Guards red looks really nice on 928's and these pics don't just do not represent it well.

No truer words spoken. I had a '79 MG that I was selling. I'm an extremely meticulous guy with my vehicles, but I was so meticulous that I ignored the fact that I had a ****ty camera.

Washed it, took it outside on a sunny day, and bought a 10mpx camera --- sold the car within 3 weeks.

Nice car! .

If it weren't red, I'd buy it. .

36K, if real, commands good dollar. .

This alone warrants the BIN price. .

I remember those funny boxy cupholders from when I was a kid. They fold down and out. Our local Mercedes dealer used to sell them for like $50 a piece. They offered a package w/ "Coco" mats. Haha. So retro!

It is a sweet looking car... Very nice indeed. The reason they wont get the BIN / asking price is because there are too many not so nice 928s on the market for far less $$ and they keep the price down. This looks to be a dealer selling the car and the BIN price is certainly negotiable. IMHO it is worth a bit less but not by much IF all the big maintenance is truely up to date. Or, you can buy a nice example for $10K-12K with slightly higher miles and a few cosmetic issues. You'll still spend another $5K trying to make it look this good. If I had the cash (of course I dont since I already own a 928S), I'd offer them $15K and let them finance through thier bank (they'll make extra $$ on the bank end) or slightly less for CASH deal... If you have the cash you can pay it off on your 1st payment and not lose any $$ in interest.

Almost forgot, I have the exact same interior, plus a 5 speed, and less the cup holder... In place of the cup holder, I installed an 80's car phone. It also has a "concealed" radar detector in the grill/under dash. Both are for asthetics only since the phone is Analog but the radar detector still functions. Its an 80's Super Car and these were 80's options so what the hell! Call me sentimental
