Default 1983 928S available in Libertyville, IL

Hey fellow Rennlisters - Came across this today in my travels around the web:

No affiliation, but there's a really clean 1983 S model available here in Libertyville, IL.

http://www.libertyautoplaza.com/deta...d-9788449.html

It's priced really reasonably at $9000 and has 32,xxx on it. Automatic.

Pictures weren't attached but I called and they emailed me some. They describe it as "really really clean and well kept."

Just passing along

That looks great, even the added rear stoplight.

In my opinion from pictures, assuming a solid verifiable history and records, if it goes for 7500 or so, its reasonable.

Looks like a great car for the money. Also my favorite color for a pre '87 928.

I wonder why the rear interior hatch panel was removed and left sitting right behind the rear seats?

The thing that I don't get is they're saying it's automatic at the dealer but that VIN decoder is saying 5-Speed.

If this car is in fact a 5-Speed I should be buying it...

probably to access the ground strap.....cars on dealer lots often discharge the battery if doors are left open hatch open for too long ...besides someone wanted to steal the tools.
