I can't understand how many people were saying my 121 K 1984 is priced to high at $2,900.00

It's all in the presentation, go read a few posts by "84totheFloor" (I'll call him Tim) and then re-read your for sale thread......

Tim is the kind of guy that can tell you he just ran over your dog, you have cancer, all while kicking you in the crotch and for some reason you feel good about it.
He's just that kind of guy and it comes through in his posts.

If I already didn't have so many cars stuffed into my garages (the local building inspector is talking about condemning my property), I would have already purchased this car from Tim.

It's still a slight possibility since I noticed a slight "hole" in my neighbors garage I could hide a 928 for a few months.

The damage is minor, to the rear rocker panel area, but it will require repair and respray.
I just gave Lorelei the news of this post and now she's sobbing uncontrollably somewhere in the house. Since we are still getting to know the new "pad" I'm not 100% sure which room she's in. In my search I passed the beer fridge and that's about as far as I got.

Maggie (our dog) isn't sure where she is either, and she's going frantic trying to find her distressed mamma.

She might be in the second garage hugging the 79 or her Scirocco. I'm not 100% sure.

Either way I think you and the family need to trek north to Door County and bring the 928. I cannot promise it will be left behind but give the girl one last run before the next lucky owner steps up to the plate.

Hell, maybe we can talk my neighbor into buying it, or Tim Murphy - he has room.
Jim just sold a red 84 automatic. Maybe he could use a silver 84 to fill the void while he works on his Yamaha powered Isetta (you read that correctly).

Crap, the crying has gotten louder, the search continues...........and my beer is empty.

Default Rear Damage

Here is a picture of the parking lot bump damage. It's not a big deal, but this is a B+ looking car and if I were buying it, I would get this fixed. I'm reducing the price by $1900 accordingly.

UPDATE
As of yesterday, I officially dropped the price of the car on AutoTrader, accounting for the aforementioned parking lot injury. I really would like to see it stay within the Rennlist community.

Figures that right after risking my marriage that a car like this would come up for sale. Out of the question for me since I have:

A) just bought a car without consulting with my wife
B) have a really fun project car to work on (and spend money on ) for some time to come
C) just finished a very large house remodel and have spent way too much money

Oh, and

D) now have two vehicles that have to be parked outside, not counting boats or tractors

But a well maintained 5-speed sure looks good. Must... not... look...
