Default For Sale on Autotrader

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...ngId=336865121

Am hoping it can stay in the Rennlist community. The car is high mileage, but has been meticulously cared for.

We have restored the car to a much better condition, both aesthetically and mechanically. I just feel ready to move him on to a new owner.

But not just anyone.

I like it! Any other issues that will be needing attention other than whats listed in the ad? Brakes, timing belt, water pump, ect. Thanks.

Nope. Brakes are fine. TB/WP is good for another couple years, methinks.

BTW, this car has been to Michigan twice.
1. Rob Budd did the releathering
2. Been to Sharks in Hell

And you're how far from Carmel?

We need to make an FIB branch of the Great Lakes OC before we lose another from the area.

Damn it Tim.......

This car is super clean, I've driven it a few times too. Very good example of a US 16V.

I really really want to add this to my garage, timing isn't good.

IMO this price is a steal.

The timing is fine. Belt and water pump were replaced a couple years ago.

Thanks for the plug, Erik.

Tim - you and I have connected at the Libertyville Car Fun on 21 event. Our place is right along St. Marys, in Green Oaks. Happy New Year!

February Update:

The car is still for sale on AutoTrader - http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...ngId=336865121.

However, circumstances have changed and we're going to more forward a bit more quickly with the sale now.

Three weeks ago, the car was hit as it was parked in a parking lot. The perp drove off.
The damage is minor, to the rear rocker panel area, but it will require repair and respray.

So the $7200 asking price is going to be lowered to $5300. Am sharing this here first, since I'd like a Rennlist member to own it.

If you're interested, please email me at timothysassen@gmail.com.

Peace.

Carmel? Small world. I graduated from Carmel way back in '83. My dad was stationed over at Great Lakes back then. I had a classmate that got a 911 for graduation and another that regularly drove his Dad's 928.
