Oh man that car is GORGEOUS!!! WOW! If rebuilt correctly that would be a hell of a car to own! White GTS's are REALLY HARD TO BEAT and without rub strips makes me want to go take them off my white GTS as well!

I saw the car way back when Bob first had it fixed. I believe he put the front end of an 87 on there. I haven't driven or looked at it on a lift...but from the outside it looked good.

Bob has had it for a long time (I'm guessing close to 10 years)....so if it were to have problems, I think they would have been obvious by now. Bob is also a 928 enthusiast and has (had?) a 928 GT track car and many other 928's over time. I think he's even on this list every once in a while...

I'd say it's worth a look or two... not many 5sp sport seat GTS's out there..

here's the link to the registry:

Thanks for the feedback. Of course I'm put off by the salvage title which I figure diminishes the value by about a 3rd, OTOH it would likely be a wonderful driver quality GTS without the worry of a Willhoit caliber perfect car. I'm very tempted.

I would say the salvage title reduces the value by at least half. If its a car you think you will keep forever, then go for it. If you ever need to unload it, that will be a long process.

I drove this car. It didnt feel like a GTS. Also I'm sad to say that Bob hasn't got a stellar rep up here.

I havent seen this car but have spoken with the dealer. He has had numerous 928s over the years, many imported from Japan and he spins a good story.

The car looks to be a US model not Canadian so would have a history in the States.

For the asking price Id keep looking for a straight car with a clean history........my 5 speed GTS came out of Montreal and is immaculate.
