Jim,
Come on I am trying to sell something here and you get all "real" on us 8>).
I will fit some to one of my cars and trial it in the Texas heat.

Roger,

I found the one at post #18, is the same as used in VW Brasilia (a Brazilian VW project - very ugly car ) in early 70's.

I pretty sure it's the same as used in a Brazilian version of Audi 80 called Passat made by VW in late 70's. Next week I'll go to a specialized antique car rubber store in São Paulo and let you know.

Hi

I am missing the front seal along the top of the engine fan shroud.

Can anyone confirm the correct part number for this?

It's not clear from the parts catalog because it's not shown in exactly the right position and it's referred to as a 'radiator seal'. I'm not sure it's referring to the seals that go down the side of the radiator. It don't want to order it and find out I've ordered the wrong item.

Thanks. [1984 S2 Euro]

Put my money on 928 106 271 02 and it's the correct part.

Now looking foward to all that extra power the increased cool air draw will give me.
