To disassemble you need to pop off the cover then unsolder a few wires and break a ton of silicone......

Stock grid mesh is made of 0.3mm dia stainless wire, the "airholes" are 1.35mm square.

This gives a useful "air" area about 67% of the total area...

If you measure a new screen, it is much nearer 1.0mm thickness...

Do not try to get inside the black lid, there's nothing good to see in there, and lots of harm to be done...
