Default transmission rebuild places near ny or nj

I have a feeling when i reconnect the selector cable and check the governor the tranmission is still going to have problems. Does any one know of a place to get a transmission rebuilt in nj or ny? If so how much did you pay. I really dont see myself removing the transmission myself. The weather in hudson valley ny is horrible and i dont have a garage.

Probably will be quicker and cheaper to buy a rebuilt unit from 928 International (or if 928sRUS has them) and swap.

Check John at Import Performance Transmission. These guys are absolute transmission experts.

I don't know how much experience they have with 928's but they will be honest and tell you if they don't. Tell him Kevin sent you.

I can't believe this guy still gets recommendations. Steve is no more. AFAIK he's still not allowed to repair cars for money in the State of New York.

Yup. At least you'll have a guarantee and know it was done correctly.
