Four people were injured in a Sunday afternoon crash south of Flippin.
At 12:30 p.m., Michael Faust, 50, of Flippin was driving a 1985 Porsche 928 north on AR Highway 101, two miles south of Flippin, following another vehicle that has stopped for a crossing dog, according to an Arkansas State Police news release from Cpl. Matthew Sheley.
The crash occurred when Dawn Machivitch, driving a 2001 Nissan Xterra, was unable to stop and hit the back of Faust’s vehicle, according to the release.
Injured were Faust, Mackivitch, and 7- and 10-year old passengers in Mackivitch’s vehicle, according to the release. All were taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center, and they were not listed as patients there Monday morning, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The highway was partially blocked for about an hour, authorities said. Mackivitch was charged with following to close, according to the release.

I don't know Michael Faust, but I know where Flippin is. I've done plenty of trout fishing in Cotter, AR (trout capital of the World according to billboard) which is the next town over on the south side of the White River. Flippin is also home to Ranger Bass Boats IIRC.
Surely someone in AR knows this guy, can check and make sure he and his family are okay and get back with us?

Mike in NW Arkansas and Kelly Shipp in central Arkansas are the only 928 Rennlisters that I can think of at the moment.

I was in Springfield a few weeks after the ice storm about maybe 7 or 8 years ago. It was unreal to see all that damage. I really like the area from the times I have been there.
