thanks Kev, That's when it first came in before we had a chance to fix and replace all the little stuff that needed attention. All the 'uglies" have been addressed and the paint block sanded with 2k and 3k and buffed to a flawless finish. Going in for some dye touch ups at a well respected upholstery shop this week as well. The car is a strong 9/10 at this point

Default Wow.

The weather was nice last week and I took a 2-wheeled spin up to PA & caught up with Kevin & Christi. I had the opportunity to check out this '87. It's everything KLVA says, but his pics don't do it justice.
I don't know how he finds these cars, but Kevin's got a pampered, unmolested time capsule here. When he says "uglies" that's extreme. I'd say "blemishes" or "slight imperfections" would be more like it, and those have probably been corrected by now.
I've seen "uglies" in the true sense (cosmetic issues, body damage, paint issues, mechanical problems, etc) that in the right hands, can be remedied. Tori Spelling comes to mind .
This car doesn't have or has never had "uglies". It's a documented, straight original. Kevin showed me the little things that he considers uglies, like a tiny bit of wear on the driver's side piping, and scuff marks on the top of the back seat from luggage rubbing against it on one of the owner's trips to Florida, confirming that the car's been a highway cruiser it's whole life, and not an urban hot rod.
One last thing:
I've always been partial to black cars, but I've never been a fan of red interiors. I've always considered them to be a little over the top and dated. But this interior needs to seen in person. In the daytime and at night. First of all, it's not all red. It's red on black. Big difference. Second of all, it's classy as hell looking. Third of all, not only is it not dated, red on black is current. Take a look at 2013 Porsches, AMs, Ferraris, etc. and you'll see red on black interior options.
I'd love to have this car.

I wanted Alexei to have this one too but He asked me for more pics and it has been my experience a car is best looked at in person after you have posted relevant pics initially. I have three ready-to-fund-offers now and will be making a decision by tomorrow morning.Jp thanks for your input bro, coming from you that is very complimentary.

I was at Kevin's shop Saturday and saw this car. It is flawless, someone is going to get a real nice ride. It deserves a bidding war.

Sorry guys, been out of touch - crazy busy at work and business (had to cancel my ski trip and work this week). Never really had a chance to sit down and decide if I'm ready for another 928 - had to scramble and talk to my wife just now.

Kevin - I will call you tomorrow around 10-11am, hopefully not too late...

Cheers!

I just joined this forum today. I am in the process of buying the car from Kevin. Plan up picking it up on Friday . In all my years of car buying I have never met a nicer and more knowledgable guy in the business. A real pleasure to do business with. Glad to see all of these positive comments about this car for a lot of people in the know.
