The Linclon Mark VIIIs had stock 24lb injectors (blue). I have a set in my '85.

Maybe our horsepowers are different?
so, better atomization, but ST, so you can really do the injector duration correctly? nice.

But they are bandaids, and less than optimal.

There have been many people whom have offered to help you get the car tuned up, so dont use lack of ST as an excuse, hell Rog even rents them!
You probably dont remember. i cant shark tune my car, unless i dump the ECU for a stock one. remember it had some custom chip in there from porsche

Seriously? Mark... WTF?

You can ST your car. Guaranteed... Although you may need access the a STer MK1 depending on how they provisioned your LH/EZK.

You have an engine map in that ECU that was based on a 5.0l engine that is now long gone. You now have a completely different motor with different injectors which probably react differently now that you are running different fuel pressure and god know what other specs are now far different from that old motor. And your trying to make adjustments to get the motor to fit the ECU? Thats completely Assbackwards! You are changing one variable to try and account for many. It might get you closer, but it will never fit. Trust me... And all the time and money you put into it is wasted IMO. In one day you could have that car dialed in 98% with a STer!

Swallow your pride, put out the call for someone with a STer to come over and help you. I would if I could. I even have a STer and a spare set of brains and a WBO2 that i would bring if it were logistically possible. And when all is said and done, I would burn you a couple chips, drink your beer, let you buy me a steak, and shake your hand.

You will be amazed at how well the car runs after that... Really!

So what it going to be?

Remember when your car was made, these were still cool!

Mark -- I think you could take a copy of your "special" Porsche chips and send them someone who can copy all the maps out of them. Then, one can paste those maps to any stock LH ECU. This way, I think you could only change the injector size parameter with ST, for example. You could also share your "special" maps with the community.

Mark,
I sharktuned 4 yrs ago and found it very easy with the instructions sent with the tuner. The owner and you should contact anyone in the region to obtain a tuner and put a wide band sensor in and away you go. If there is no way you can find a shark tuner, I will send you mine with wide band o2 sensor and all you have to do is read the manuel and contact the maker for any questions...my tuner worked on the gts easy and I have programable eproms as spares.....
take us up on our offer......

andy
