So back from holidays and my trip out west, so decided to get going on it again.
Imo000 and I did an intake refresh (well he did it mostly). I got the ****ty job of removing broken bolts from the block. We got the (pretty much useless) starter out, and I will get it repaired for the weekend.
Got the new rubber mounts in the block, so now I just need to go over the intake surfaces and clean up the old gaskets and scratches that are there.

Got the intake back on. Man, there are a ton of vacuum lines running around this thing. It didn't look like that many when I removed it...

IT STARTS!!!!
Just on starting fluid of course as the fuel pump is likely fubar (doesn't run).
But it sounded strong and no weird noises! It means the Ignition system is working well. Used the old plugs too! We don't call it crack house racing for nothing....

This project is on hold for a couple of more weeks as I get close to wrapping up the 90 GT project I am working on.
Hopefully I can still do something for this year but may end up just doing a couple of track days to satisfy my needs. Will keep you updated.

Great job so far! I say once you have it fully runnin, go back to the farmer you bought it from about 2am & use the 928 to make a large "crop circle" of the hood emblem design in his fields since he wanted it so bad!
