Default Picked up a rescue yesterday

So imo000 and I picked up a rescue yesterday. He needed blue interior parts and a front spoiler, and I have always wanted a track car. $800.00 for the car and after Imre gets his 300$ worth of parts out, I end up with an 83 5-speed for me to play with.

Oh, and a 'fvck you' to the farmer who popped off the front Porsche emblem after we agreed to purchase it. What is wrong with these people? It was dark when we got it and I was concentrating on the loading and tie down and didn't notice it. Imre did and he was smart not telling me about it. I was fuming...

Of course karma has a way of smacking you in the back of the head...happened less than a kilometer from a Canadaian Tire......we got there with the tire 20min after they closed....

Can you just throw a patch on that?

Cleaned up really nice!

I guess it's okay to use the engine cleaner on this one.

The pictures show a little better than it really is. It has the manual sport seats which are quite rare. The clutch pedal is to the floor, so I assume the blue hose is fubar.

This weekend is supposed to be 12. nice and warm. I am even going to try and revive the battery

I have spare ignition wires, so going to give it a whirl and see if Imre and I can get it started.

I have started a facebook page titled CrAck hOuSE Racing. This is going to be redneck budget racing extreme.

my clutch pedal is also on the floor...master leaks out onto the floorboard.....might not be the blue hose, but best to change anyway.....

The missing emblem adds 1/2 hp for your future track car.

Good luck with the project!

Wow! I need to come to that car wash.
I'd keep feeding it quarters and do the engine, underside etc.

What a jerk for taking the emblem! I will grab one off of one of his cars next time I am by there.

That car has potential,
dont park that thing anywhere near your house or worse inside the garage,
the mice will quickly run to find a new home
