I got an initial measurement of 237mm from Dinsdale. I would like another from you or someone else before I machine out the first extension plates.

Mine had an elongated slot to accomodate rear coupler bolt ... messing up front orientation. I don't trust it. Sorry to not get back to you on that.

Landseer, was that slot something you or PO did? From my calcs of the 928 BH depth and pilot bearing recess, even 237mm is too far extended. Dinsdale said most 928 5-speed couplers have quite a bit of adjustment aft/fro at the front coupler.

This weekend will have the stub shaft up here to mount on the manual. Will also send you at the same time the auto spec.

The manual Shaft should be right at 9.00" TT flange to very tip. I'm setting up the C5 adapter plate to index the hollow extender that allows the coupler to sit in the plane of the adapter and omits the LS swap 1.oo" pilot bearing adapter (also used in the 944 swap), using an off-the shelf GM pilot bearing from a Hummer. The purists will really cringe when an SUV part is used lol.

xchops I am sure you might have another set of measurements from my buddy by now, if not tonight.

Tomorrow will have the auto measurement, just too many work hours in.
