I always wonder what a seller is deciding means new engine, as it has yet to mean new engine except in one case I've seen.

 

Yea the details are pretty vague. I will likely be in Omaha sometime in the next week or so if anyone is interested.

 

I have found that vague ads keep the tire kickers away!!!!

It's a solid car, just have another project to focus on...a restoration project for my wife!

 

I have not seen you post here before. It's good to know there is another S4 owner in Nebraska. I think the car looks good for the money but people always want an independent look which is entirely understandable. What all do you know about the engine replacement and how many total miles on the car. Posting some more pics here might help.

 

Feel free to PM me if you are serious and want some more info. I bought this from a fellow member. Now that I think about it if there are any OB owners who want an S4 I would consider trading for a clean 5 speed. I do miss that from the '79 Euro that I had!

 

I've only posted a handful of times. There is so much info out here that I have yet to find a question that could not be answered here. I was originally trying to avoid posting it here simply to shield the previous owner from the fact that I have it up for sale! Too late now. Sorry man!

225K miles total. 25K on the motor. I have all of the receipts that were passed on. I didn't add them all up but it appears to be significant! An independent look is welcome. I just had it detailed inside and out. It looks good for a 24 year old car but is not perfect.
