S4 air injection pipe plug
A while back I saw a post where someone showed the manufacturer part number for the plug and retaining cap that caps the air injection pipe attached to the S4 cats. I meant to subscribe to that thread but evidently got distracted. Anyone have a link to that thread?

I posted details of a cap which screws onto the cats on the air-injection pipe. Only useful if you've removed everything above the cats in the way of air pump equipment.

Funnily enough this came up in someone else's thread earlier today.

Thanks Hilton. That is the part. My air pump was removed by a PO. The pipe with check valve from adjacent to the passenger cam cover down to the cats is all that is left. I hate the way it looks with the piece of hose on the check valve and the red plastic cap someone taped in there. I wanted to remove the pipe down to the joint by the manifold outlet but couldn't find anything to properly cap off the remaining pipe to the cats proper.
Now I can get a cap ordered and remove the pipe entirely. It will go in the box with all the other air pump parts should I ever move to a state that requires all original emissions equipment and tail pipe sniffing.
Thanks
Mike
