Pilkington Classics 1-800-848-1351 $235 Shipping $110. This is what I got back in May of this year. They have to ship to a business with a loading dock. I conference called Pilkington and my local mom-pop shop and arranged the whole thing because the local shop was not a Pilkington reseller. Took a few weeks to get it but It's great Sigla glass.
I used Safelite to replace the windshield in my '09 Carrera S. Two days after the install I noticed my NAV system's moving map was not working. Took it to the dealership where it was discovered that in the process the installer likely broke a $50 electrical connector. The dealer quoted 2-3 hrs for repair at $145 per. Long story short, Safelite was great to deal with, expeditiously handled my claim and paid the dealership directly. Mistakes happen. They stood by their work.
Safelite messed up my windshield job 2 years ago, currently having it redone because it's leaking. The glass they put in the first time was Sigla, the new one is some chinese company called Fuyao, I told them to find me another Sigla
^^^ i saw your thread. mine had a small leak due to me taking out the A-piller trim (had some black goop stuck to it, messed up its seal) and it is pitted to hell. id like to get my rear hatch glass redone as well. atleast re sealed.
wow. some places wont touch the car "to old" but would be happy to do a late model ???? same damn glass people. some places show no glass available, wrong glass type, crap brands, or want to much. urg.
