Agla - do they still exist?
In spring 2011 I purchased a steering wheel recover kit from 928 Intl. As it happened the kit was for a smaller diameter steering wheel. I saw it was manufactured by Agla in FL and contacted them to see if they made a cover for the larger diameter wheels (I know - I should have contacted 928 Intl but I didn't).
The reply was that yes, they did and if I sent the leather bits and pieces, he would exchange it for the correct size. Sounded simply enough. That was June 2011.
Fast forward 17 months and 5 or 6 emails with no answers.
I just called him and left a message.
So, my question is are they still around and anyone else with the same problem or are they just really elusive?

They're still around, we sell quite a bit of their stuff. Alan can be hard to catch but he is a real person......Keep trying.

I had the same problem with him. He is very hard to get and then gives multitude of excuses. It took me at least a dozen calls and at least 20 emails over a 6-9 month period to get a refund on a wrong steering wheel cover he had sold me.

Same here.....16 months to get my recovered leather shift **** back....after numerous phone calls they sent it back covered in vinyl...at least in the right color. Will never buy a thing from them again.
Cheers!

I had them do a shift **** for me 12 or so years ago........ they kept it for months and sent it back... wasn't even the same ****.... as is no way would it fit.... they argued that at least the color was correct. which it was not....... seems to be a total lack of customer focus or pride in workmanshift.

I bought a shifter boot from them and the elastic was thinner than the OEM and in some places missed being stitched to the boot. I sent it back.

Also need to understand that there are different quality of leathers. The leather he uses is for home furniture. You need to have automotive leather that is more UV resistant and can handle the extreme temperatures in the cabin when exposed to the sun.

Like Paragon we sell the shifter covers for various P cars. They (Agla) are slow but I have always received my parts within 2 to 4 weeks.
They are lightening fast - read "speed of light" at taking your money - the card has been charged before the phone is back on the hook 8>).

So not "trying" to make life difficult, just seemed reasonable at the time. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
