Default Strange Transmission Issue

I have noticed that the 85 Euro 5 speed has a strange issue. I had the rear wheel jacked up off the ground with the transmission in neutral. I started the car and the wheel started spinning. The transmission is in Neutral, how is this possible? I can stop the wheel with my hands or foot but as soon as I let it go it starts to spin again. It really gets to spinning pretty fast if you let it get going.

Any ideas?

That's normal. Even though it's in neutral, there are a gears on roller bearings going around the stopped shaft, the drag from bearings imparts a little drag that you are seeing.

Both sides would spin equally, if you have a limited slip.
