O...M...G...!

Damn, this sounds too good to miss!

If only I had:
1. Funds
2. Time
3. Maintenance up to date
4. Comprehensive Insurance
5. A freaking helmet!
6. Did I mention funds?

...and it is so close!

Only two 928s on the list so far. C'mon folks!

Barry, this is well worth the investment. My first one was in October and I've been waiting for this one ever since. Do it! Great motivation to get the car in shape, too.

John, I have an extra open trailer you can use if you can't get one by March. It would really be cool to get you and Falkenburg there for this event.
I just signed up so now there's 4!!

Not sure if the list is full at 207 drivers (only 2 of which are "on hold") but if you're still interested in this, try to sign up soon (registration closes 3/5).

Default Help getting tires to VIR

Hi

I'm a Metro PCA member going down to VIR and was looking for help getting 2 of my track tires to VIR for next week's event. Originally we had 2 cars going down so space wasn't a problem, but now am going down by myself.

I can fit 2 of them in my front seat so only need room for 2. If anyone has space I can drive them down to you and pick them up after the event. I'm in NJ near Princeton and can drive them down to Maryland or Delaware. I'm willing to pay to offset any inconvenience - tolls? beer? dinner?

Hoping someone can help me out.

Driving up Saturday morning to see how many 928's made it to the event.

Make me proud out there guys (still hating it that I couldn't register for the event myself!).

Just me representing solo, but I'm doing my best to properly display the 928s capabilities. If all goes well, I will be bumped up to the blue run group today, despite this being only my second track event! The 928 has been getting a lot of love from just about everyone, too, so that's been nice.

This track is perfect for the 928. I'm at home in 3rd and 4th gears, though I might try to get to second at Oak Tree today.

If you end up coming, bring some tarps, please! 50% chance of rain.

I've had a great weekend but mechanical issues are causing me to head home early. I've got both a power steering leak, despite the whole system being new, and a coolant leak/overheating issue. I think the radiator is just not efficient enough for this demand. And I don't want to cause an accident or shut down the track.

I was allowed to drive solo today, and if the car held up, I'd probably be bumped up to the next run group tomorrow. Oh well.

VIR is fantastic, especially for a 928. Can't recommend it enough.

Great to see Stever (nc growler) today, and enjoyed some parade laps in his gorgeous GT. Many thanks for coming out! Until next time...
