Sorry to hear about your brother, Joel.
He was on rennlist, wasn't he? I can't recall his name.
Was his passing announced here back in 2009?

Yes, 2009 is correct. He posted here a couple times but was mostly a lurker. His name was Jeff.
I have gotten a lot of PMs asking about a price. I think the car is worth at the most $7K. I would not "like" to sell but selling is the smart play if the buyer is not delusional (and then regretful and angry.)
I'll try to track down the rest of the photos from when we moved it to storage.
Cheers,
-Joel.

I should be clearer about my intent. I do not intend to sell the car for whatever I can get for it to some random long distance buyer sight unseen. That is likely to turn out badly, as would selling it to someone who shows up with jumper cables and expects to drive it home to Seattle. I do not need to get into a mess with an unhappy buyer, this is a small community and I have enough problems. If it does not seem like the right buyer can be found I'll hang onto it for a while rather than risk creating more problems than I solve.

I would rather have skunks than snakes. I do hope you get everything resolved to your satisfation. This is a great community of folks, and we do strive to help each other out, and support each other. (If you can over look the bickering at times).

Sounds like you really want to sell it but see it go to a good home.
That's OK!
If you want to know it's going to be kept as a cherished car than lower the price and be selective with buyers.
No matter where it goes you have to accept that it will be someone elses car. Even the famous Bob DeVore racer wound up with shoe company logos on it, everyone has different tastes!

Joel,
Good luck with the sale. That being said, and I am surprised Randy didn't mention this, I would remove and cap off that under hood fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail asap. If not, you may soon be selling the car for scrap.

I do not think Joel plans on running and driving this car. It needs to go on an trailer and be hauled to it's new home and new owner. It needs to be fully checkout BEFORE being started and run. uel press gauge should come off.
This being an early supercharger application I doubt it was Sharktuned so lots of things to go over BEFORE any BWAAAA !!! And now about those fuel lines

I agree, I have spoken out before against underhood fuel pressure gauges. The car should be gone over before driving any distance, that is for sure. The people interested in the car seem to be inclined to ship or trailer it and then prep it for track duty.
