I just received a Toronto 420 BT (pre-ordered from Amazon) and will be installing in the next few weeks - will post feedback then. Have to say it's a little disconcerting to see how much cheaper they are now. Back in '88 I put one in my Alfa Spider Veloce and I think it was around $700...the 420BT was $149 via Amazon.

I just installed one paired with an Alpine 4 x 45 amp. So far I'm very pleased with the quality and functionality for the price. The BlueTooth features are outstanding. The hands free calling is good enough that I can be understood when driving at 75 in my stock S4 using only the built in Mic. I will probably add a Mic that is closer to me for better voice reception.

We'll see what the long term reliability is like.

Mike.

Have been enjoying a Blaupunkt Toronto 410BT since April 2011 onwards, and exceedingly pleased with it!

Coupled directly to Hans superbly crafted and sounding front speakers & passive crossovers (see: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...uction-19.html post #285 for my installation pictures), and sub-woofer functions taken care of by a build into the spare tire In Phase USW-10 Ultra Compact Active Subwoofer (see: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...tallation.html for all those details).
