Just received one of these 19 pin to OB2 diagnostic connectors for my '89. Mailed from Shenzhen Guangdon, China for $8.95!

Plugged into an OB2 scanner and... nothing. Anyone figured how to make these things work?

To get data out of the port, you'll need to reverse-engineer the command set and protocols used by Porsche (and in the Bosch Hammer KT301, JDS Spanner, Theo's tool etc.). If you want to make your own equivalent to the "Theo's Tool" then the connector is a good place to start.. but there's still a lot of work to get to a useable app.
