Drew , if those straps were metal I would feel better about that, we had an ambulace with an o2 tank on a roll over that killed the patient as it came loose and hit pt on gurney in the head.....just saying be safe!!!

The extinguisher lies right in front of the L rear seat. The butt of the unit is against the carpeted panel the runs along the door. The eyelet is centered in the panel just below the rear seat cushion.
Not many places for it to go in an impact. The rear of the front seat is about 3 inches in front of it. There is really no where for it to go medially or laterally, and it is held in firmly by the strap. Unless it were release from the strap, then go straight up to a height over the seatback, and then have the velocity while making a 90 degree turn to hit me in the head, I have a low fear factor.
