Wilbraham Tech #8 on October 27th!
The Wilbraham Tech Session is happening again this year. The date is October 27th so this would be a great chance for an end of season drive while the fall foliage is in full swing.
We will have an indoor fire going and also an outdoor bonfire to enjoy. Food and beverages are provided and we always lean towards overkill in that department so arrive hungry !
I installed another lift this year and both will be available to anyone that wants to get their car up in the air. Tools are also there for your use.
The day's event schedule is still being worked out but I will keep this thread updated as we firm things up. Start time is usually sometime around 10:am but I'll be out there in the early AM so come early if you like and I'll put you to work :>)
And one final note: I am working with the Owner's Club this year and this will be a sponsored event. The club offered a very generous sponsorship and we have some really nice mementos to distribute. So come out and Support your Owner's Club!
There are no entry fees or costs associated with this event, just come and have some fun. Kids and any additional guests are also welcome. PM me for address and other details!
Thanks
Dave T

Dave, Was just up your way visiting the folks in CT & friends in So VT. The 79 you sold me last year is going back together and is not far from being done. Looks like you have a great event and will try and make it next year. T

Great news! Thanks for hosting again, Tass. I will be there.
If you are looking for a tech topic, I vote for a dual disc clutch adjustment session, and I have just guinea pig.

Tass, sounds great, always a class event. I'll be bringing out the new to me 91 GT, currently it with me in Maine, so it will be putting on the miles over the next few weeks.
Looking to head up to Owls Head museum Sunday if weather holds, another 100 miles up the Maine coast along Rt 1' great drive.
See you Oct 27

Tass, Count me in too. I would like to get my OB up on your lift so some of the more experienced 928experts in attendance can check my suspension components to see if anyone can spot something that might be causing a right pull in the steering. See post about a week ago. Just had an alignment within specs which did not correct the problem.
Thanks for hosting this great event again.

I'm hoping to make it out this time. I would be sans 928, as mine are all in various state of disassembly; however, I could bring my Sharktuner and/or Hammer if anyone is interested in using them and there won't already be enough units there.

Dave's event is the only one I look forward to each and every year. It's that good. Can't wait. Thanks Dave and Flo.

I am looking for tech topics so this sounds like a good one. I could learn something on this one also. To date, my dual disc clutch installations have been easy only because of good luck, not skill.

It is a great event and Tass is a very nice guy. Great time of year and Tass has a very nice set-up. I hope he keeps the tradition going and some day I can make a return visit with the euro. Everyone who is within driving distance should attend.

We have one shark tuner lined up ( thank you Ed Standke ) and I have a bosch Hammer, but I can't imagine it would hurt to have more than one !
I'm sorry your 928 fleet is "in progress" but I see a couple of other rides in your sig that I would like to get a look at ! We have a nice lawn spot for interesting non-928 cars and they always get a lot of attention. Most of us 928 guys have already seen each others cars so the variety is nice to have. It also brings a group of "other car" folks that get a kick out of seeing such a large group of 928's.
I hope you can make it!

I enjoy this event as much (more?) than anyone so thank you all for attending this 2012 event and also all of the past events. I intend to keep the tradition going as long as interest from the 928 community is there.
