Default Cleaning cabin temp sensor?

OK, I did a search and can't find anything specific on how to clean the inside cabin temp sensor in the center console. Any suggestions? Just trying to get 30+ years of dust and junk out without damaging it. It is out on the bench, so easy access. This is on my 1980 Euro S.

Al,

I cleaned mine with some light compressed air, and some cotton swabs dipped in cleaning solution. It got all nice and clean

Cheers!

put a drop of oil onto each end of the sensor fan motor so it will run silently

Thanks for the tip Stan. Bench testing the motor it sounds ok, and the thermistor seems to be working and close to spec vs temp.
