Is that a wear point or a dent on the one end?

How would it make it worse?
Would upgrading tie downs be more ideal? I'm doing a couple track days on this car so that why I wanted to put a stronger bar on there

it might pay for you to go back and read some of the other bits of info that others have posted about fitting a stiffer front bar. In one of the other threads you started.

If anything you should add the drop links to the rear bar so to make the rear stiffer so the front end wont push as much.

That said you should learn how to drive the car in its stock platform,
as you have a lot to learn about your own performance,
instead of chasing some idea thats wrong

The stock one won't break.

People change them when there is something about their car's handling package which they don't like - usually as a result of changes in tire, wheel size, spring rates, brakes, brake bias, shock compression/rebound rates etc.

The first question is.. what aspect of your 928's handling needs fixing to suit your driving style?

What are tie downs?

Weight control is what traction is all about.

Its..a long story, longer than I wanna go into this late.

But..basically, when you stiffen one end up..that end sticks less..which makes a car that pushes a lot, push more.

Learn...to...drive...the...car........as stock as possible.

YOU need to learn to be a driver, before you can drive a car...any car, properly fast.

You just learn all manner of bad habits, and then reinforce them without foundation.

Wanna race, buy a race car.

#22 is a darn good car.

And its a -race- car.

A miata wont -let- you develop bad habits. It will punish you for them.

You have driven them.

Long way from 'know how to drive them'. I believe a Miata could out turn ya...just for a slice O humble pie and then you'll start thinking education, not modification.

Was gonna call ya this weekend if I was in town..but..not.

i think he means the tie down plates (carls) for the rear LCA.

what links did you order?

i kept the stock bar and added carls drop links. front was a little stiff for my liking so i changed the front back to the stock DL.

Ahh to be 16 years old and know EVERYTHING!! I remember those days...

If you are just going to do what you want (even though it is wrong) then why ask? Brian's 928 Estate racer was running stock sway bars and you think your street car doing the occasional track day needs better ones??

Remember many people helping you on here have had 928's for longer then you have been alive!
