Could you tell me is there any kind of sealent used on the gasket between the air intake manifold and the top of the valve cover on the paper coated gasket or is it just left dry.
Also what is the correct torque for the bolts that hold the air intake to the valve cover

Do you mean the interface between the intake tubes and the head? Same pieces that hold the 8 injectors?

 

Intake manifold gaskets can go on dry.

Yes...

 

I've been using felpro blue brush-on coating on them

 

The torque is NOT high... like 10 ft lbs.
