Got more pics to share but thought I would put up at least one from delivery day in July. New 2013 Panamera GTS with PDCC and a few other goodies. Guys, when I tell you this car is sick, this car is frickin' SICK! Never have I driven a car so refined, poised, purposed and downright ridiculous! The 7 speed PDK is honestly otherworldly. Makes the 430hp feel like so much more. Porsche has really scored with this one in my book. And I should mention the seats. Schwiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnggg! Red deviated stitching and carbon fiber everywhere. Most fun car I have ever had the pleasure to own.
Some other updates:
1. Budd did a full interior refresh on my 79 930. Absolutely stunning. No way I can ever sell the red rocket.
2. 928 gets picked up tomorrow with a MAD audio system. Focal Black series speakers, newest Pioneer head unit with pop out screen, custom amp and sub enclosure in back, big 5 1/2" mids in doors down low, etc. likely driving that to murfs tomorrow afternoon. :-)
3. 66 chevelle got a 5 speed tremec, new clutch and pressure plate by ram. more power to the ground!
4. 05 cayenne turbo got new fuel pumps and it feels like it got an ECU flash and 75 more HP! damn, me and my fuel delivery issues!
5. ow my wallet hurts.
rhudy out.

I'm sure they're wonderful from the driver's seat, but they sure are painful to look at.
Shame - doesn't cost any more to make an attractive car than it does to make an ugly one. Porsche made an ugly one.
Just my opinion and as they say everyone has one....

Homo1, a.k.a. Rhudy, a.k.a. Camboinc, was kind enough to let me drive the "Panny" as he likes to call it. OMG! It is amazing. You don't even realize there is a back seat that can accommodate a 6' 4" person comfortably. It feels amazing and that was just down the street and back. as a DD, i would never want to get out!
As for looks... If you leave the rear spoiler deployed.... Looks great. Put it down... OUCH! But personally, I hope the Porsche world hates and shuns the Panamera and its looks like they did the 928. That way in another 5-6 years they will have depreciated to a level that I can pick one up.
Sick little monkey you say? You have no idea! Knowing Rhudy, the new stereo in the 928 will melt your ears. Sick is not a term to be used lightly with him.
Btw, can I have/buy your old Bazooka bass tube?

A few pix of Brian's 930 I just finished.
I missed the perfect photo op when he picked up the 930. At my shop had the 930, Panamera, 944, 928S4, and CayenneTT. I didn't think of taking pix until after he left. O well.

You are a lucky man indeed Rhudy...
I've warmed up to the looks of the Pana. I think an aftermarket fixed wing would do wonders for it.
I agree with Andrew. Please shun it, hate it, and let it depreciate like an 80s K car. Walk away there is nothing to see here...
Maybe the Panamera will be the next enigma P car to be better than almost every other car on the road, yet be so much better that it gets passed over and discarded? One can only hope.
