I don't know what you're talking about, another car? General internet wisdom?
The 928 CVs are as big and strong as they get and the possibly strongest part of the drivetrain.

Per Todd's request, I added the link to the web site I put together documenting this project in the first post.

Screen name was also changed......

Todd made a set of 16" phone dials 10" wide and runs the car on DOT Mickey Thompson drag slicks

We've spent years keeping him away from the keyboard, it appears he snuck out on us
Don't worry, I called Murphy and he rectified the situation and Todd is safe back in the garage.....

Half shafts break first, not the CV joint.

Video from a track run would be very nice to see and hear and smell.

Wow! Todd that is amazing. I hope I can can get a ride this next weekend!

You guys do realize, that if we apply our standard 18% drivetrain loss for an automatic, this thing is making 1,006 HP at the crank!

Amazing.... Simply amazing! Well done.

Congratulations on an outstanding accomplishment. What a beautiful install, too!

How much boost are you running? I like the methanol IC sprayer. Wise!

What kind of turbos are those?

What's the lag like? (those turbos look pretty large!)

That custom intake is also gorgeous. It appears a ton of work went into fabricating that. What are the five ports on the back side for?

You should be very proud of your work.

What about the heat coming off of these turbos?
I would imagine that they would get glowing red after a good run up in the mountains, say chasing AO and Rudy on the Skyway.

I will have to say that it is a VERY nice install and you simply can not argue with the power results.

I am glad you are posting, this is a good thing for all of us, including you.

Greg

EDIT

After looking closer on Eric's site when I looked at the pics of the turbo's sitting on the jack stands you can see the heat blankets around the turbo's, so looks like the heat question is not a very good one.

Awesome work Todd. Glad to see you finally get some numbers for your project.

Like BC mentioned, there is no need to drop compression on an E85 engine.

Fixed it for you! If Todd chases me, he's gonna pass me in about 2 seconds with that beast!

I'm making about half the power he is.

That Todd has mad skillz... mad I tell you...

Wonder how much power it'd have with a 1:1 sprint car drivetrain.
Not that I'm suggesting doing that!
