Wait, I want to hear about this one too. Maybe it needs to be a round table discussion at 3rd Coast?

Yeah, you boostards damn near caused Armageddon. I believe that James already told us that his 25th college reunion was that weekend. Are you trying to stir up trouble in this whoop *** thread or what?

No, was an honest question. I've not seen anything one way or the other.

There are some dang funny guys in the DFW Group.

I'm thinking I may have to come up with an award for hard work.

I am relieved to finally know that there is alot of other work going on around the country/texas of these guys working hard and heavy on their cars getting them prepped for Third Coast.

I thought I was the only 928 3rd Coast Widow. Nice to find out otherwise.

My T/B, W/P & PK Tensioner was completed Saturday. Yesterday I ordered wheel paint. Should be here Friday. Last night I bought a new Duralast battery. 928 artwork will be ready Wednesday. Audio Upgrade by Hans could be here next week.

It's a "September to Remember" in my garage

Because I brought my 928 and Laura brought the truck, the truck ended up being the unofficial people carrier. I always carry a gas can filled with 5 extra gallons of fuel in the bed of the truck just in case. Well, Chuck was in the back of the truck because we were loaded down in the front, and I usually have the gas can secured via a bungee strap so it won't slide around. It was about 104 degrees outside that day. At some point the bungee came undone, and as I left the first light, Chuck described the scene like this:

"5 gallons of superheated gasoline just below the flash point came sliding toward me". His description of the situation just flat cracked me up....

I remember him asking for a cigarette, or lighter or something like that. Friggin hilarious.

And don't even get me on the cell phone story.......good thing Laura's breasts were there or he would have broke that phone for sure......

Mike doesn't allow smokers in his truck - so they all had to ride in the back.

Any locals want a deal on an A/C Machine? $75.00 and it's yours. Has a tank but no freon in it.

LOL!!
IT's all coming back now. That was some funny $##T for sure!!!
I remember Kenny being tanked, doing his best to spark that cig up right next to the 5 Gal Gas Jug!!

I was just glad it was him instead of me that night!! I went for a ride on the way to lunch (supposedly 5 min), in the back of Mike's truck to lunch that day. It was probably 108 degrees, the metal back there was at least 150!!! Holy $##T, I was burning my *** off as that 5 min ride turned into 30. Now im' guessing the flashpoint of that gas next to me was getting pretty damn close!!!

I just about choked on my dinner laughing at your post mikey!!!

Rest assured, Chuck, we were nice and comfy in the air conditioned cab, well, as much as I could be as I didn't have a single (!) vent to myself... but yes, you did look rather warm back there.
