Hey all...

Look at these (2) pics....

Here's the deal...fought the tank and lines all afternoon, finally got the tank up in it's hole, and unscrewed the old "hub" from the bottom, that used to be a fuel filter.....I had it out when I cleaned the tank, put it back, and planned on replacing with the filter, on re-assembly.

I unscrewed it, and tried to put the new filter in, and it would only go in about (1) full turn, and got VERY tight...almost felt like it was trying to cross thread....I played with it for an hour before giving up....The old Purolator hub screws in just fine...all the way to the hilt...

Whats wrong? Do I have the right part for my car? Threads look fine, but I guess they can be bad....
