Anthony--
Considering the amount of disaster recovery your car went through on it way to market, and with all that fire damage and the fixes documented here, you will have much better sale results in other places where the cat fire, sensor and wiring patches aren't so well known. It's a great looking car based on the few pictures you've shared, but the history will hold the price low with this crowd. EBay might be your best bet, where you can manage what history you disclose.

I am proud of what I went through with this car. In regards to the fire damage, it was minimal and just touched the wiring harness only and one tranny vacuum line. All of which have been completely replaced and thoroughly inspected by a Porsche 928 professional. As for the extensive repairs, that will only increase the value as those documented fixes are that much less the new owner will have to do or worry about. This is a solid car and in much better shape than most on the road today. Anyone here on this site or anywhere else should have no reservations about buying this car as it is solid and ready to enjoy!
I can vouch for condition from my quick view-looked excellent.

Hey Mike,
I lowered the price down to $10,000. That is my bottom line and I resent selling it for that price as I know I can probably get $14,000 for it during spring time, but I have to do, what I have to do...
I just lowered the price this week on Ebay. I am starting to receive a lot of positive feedback, so I guess it's priced right now. The market certainly determines, "Current value". The auction ends tonight. Let's see if anyone comes out of the woodwork during the last minute. It has been viewed 950 times with 55 watchers.

All I can say is don't do it (sell the car that is). I have a buddy that just sold his 20k bike to put cash into his wedding. And big surprise his soon to be wife has changed her tune and now says no bike or car till he retires or the house is paid off.
He lost his toy and will never get it back. Not saying this will happen to you, but women say all kinds of **** when their in that hand holding stage, it can all change later. But I hope in your case it doesn't.
And dumping her for 10k is just plain crazy.
I have had a revolving toy fund for over a decade now, and every couple of years I sell it buy something of equal value. That way it's not like I'm spending any of our cash and the wife lets me buy what I want. Last year when I sold my VFR and before I purchased the 928 I thought of just taking the family on a kick *** Disney vacation with the money. Well I bought the 928 and still took the family to Disney.
You only live once.
Ok my do not sell rant is over. Best wishes for the wedding.

Lol, well thanks, but the scenario has changed. Long story short, we were originally getting married in a wedding hall, but we got a big surprise...The house we were bidding on came through for us!!! It was a short sale that we have been bidding on since March, (nothing short about the short sale buying process).
I made the decision in May, not to buy a 928 yet, as I wanted to keep my extra funds open for if by some miracle, we actually got the house. My fiancee convinced me that buying the car would bring me great satisfaction as she knew I always wanted one and I am so glad I did, no regrets, just lots of rewards bringing her back to her original glory. I have met some amazingly dedicated, hard working, gentlemen on this forum.
Anyway, now that we will be having our closing at the end of this month, I could use the extra funds to pay the hefty taxes upfront. The wedding will now take place on the property this coming summer as it has 3.2 park like, level acres. It's gorgeous and is our dream home. It's a fair and noble trade, I believe. Our dream car is helping us get into our dream home comfortably.
