You also have to be willing to log into RL from the lobby computer, and walk away...... That is what a real virtual Sean would do.....

Is the plan to still meet up at Jack-In-The-Box, 7960 South Fwy. Ft Worth, TX 76134 10:00 AM Friday morning? And could somebody recommend a motel close by? A lot of bad reviews on Google maps. Ann and I will be down there Thursday evening.

Took my car out for a shakedown run yesterday. The driver's door won't unlock! I think a linkage came undone or something.
I won't have time to fix it before this weekend... So I will probably have to get in and out thru the window, a la General Lee!
Well, we ARE in the South!

Brent,
DO NOT stay anywhere close by the meeting point for Friday. The only reason the meeting point is there is convenience to the highway. You will only be there long enough for everybody to meet up and probably not long enough to get involved in any drive-bys.

I'd say stay where Malcolm is and we can all meet up that evening.

Both. Neither key nor **** will unlock it. They won't turn... feels jammed (as opposed to disconnected).
It happened as I was unlocking it from inside, with the ****. I kinda felt something shift or jam in there.
No worries, my first car had the driver's door lag-bolted shut, so I have some experience with this

I'll bring my "bust in to the door" tool and see if that helps.

We can replace the latch mechanism in the parking lot. IIRC it's less than an hour. I have a spare (used but servicable) latch if you want it.
